Zipidee Marketplace Policies
Refund Policy
All requests for refunds must be submitted within five days of purchase. Zipidee provides store credit only. No other form of refund is provided.
Zipidee does not guarantee the suitability, accuracy, applicability or quality of any content. Customers are encouraged to read reviews and view any available preview prior to purchasing.
No store credit will be provided based on the quality, suitability or any other discretionary attribute of the content purchased.
Store credit will be provided by Zipidee if any of the following issues occur and can be reasonably confirmed by Zipidee:
- Technical issues attributed to system outages
- Product is determined to contain pornography, violate copyright protection laws, or violate state or federal laws
Credit for any other reason will be issued based on the discretion and recommendation of the seller. This process may take up to seven calendar days.
Credit consideration is only available for purchases/rentals made by registered Zipidee members. A-la-carte and one-off purchases/rentals by non-members do not qualify for credit consideration.
To submit a store credit request, go to our Contact Us page and select “Customer Care” from the drop down menu. Please provide detailed information about the seller, the digi-good purchased, and the nature of the request.
Seller Payment Policy
Zipidee issues seller payments on the fifteenth day following the seller’s monthly statement date. Payments will be made for the full amount of the seller’s statement balance, provided the net account balance equals or exceeds $50 as of the monthly statement date. A seller’s monthly statement date may not necessarily correspond with the calendar month end.
Earnings may be issued via PayPal, ACH (Automated Clearing House) or check. The seller is responsible for selecting a payment method and providing the proper information required for distributions. If an electronic payment method is not selected, a check will be mailed to the address the seller provided.
International (non-USA) sellers will be paid either through a PayPal account or with a check. Zipidee reserves the right to impose limits and restrictions on international seller accounts.
Zipidee reserves the right to post any required adjustments to seller statements prior to making a disbursement. To the extent possible, adjustments are posted to the period to which they apply. Adjustments posted prior to disbursement will be reflected in the payment, provided they apply to the period for which the disbursement is being made. Adjustments may include the net effects of all store credits provided to buyers, customer chargebacks, Zipidee fees, seller purchases, and other credits or charges.
If a buyer requests a store credit for a seller’s product, the seller must respond to the request within seven calendar days. Credit will be issued based on the discretion and recommendation of the seller. Any request that has not been responded to within seven calendar days may result in a denial of the request for store credit. Zipidee reserves the right to grant buyers store credit up to the full purchase price and to adjust sellers’ accounts for the net effect of any store credit for all requests to which they have not responded.
Questions regarding payment should be sent to: billing@zipidee.com
Zipidee reserves the right to remove, issue store credit for, and/or withhold disbursements on any product determined to have violated Zipidee policy, federal or state law (including copyright law), or that is considered pornographic or abusive.
Account Suspension Policy
Zipidee reserves the right to suspend your account at any time due to violations of our terms and conditions. Suspensions may be appealed by contacting us at customercare@zipidee.com
Account Inactivity Policy
Zipidee reserves the right to terminate zero balance and negative balance accounts that remain inactive for more than one year.
Digi-Good and Seller Ratings
The rating for an individual digi-good is determined by the average star ratings buyers give to that particular good. Individual ratings are purely at the discretion of the customer and should provide the seller with an honest opinion about the digi-good’s value and quality. Seller rating is the average of a seller’s individual item ratings weighted for price point.
Hyperlink Policy
URLs and hyperlinks to outside (non-Zipidee) sites are not allowed anywhere on Zipidee. Comments and descriptions that contain hyperlinks may be removed at any time without warning or notice. Attempts to circumvent this policy may result in deletion of link and/or account suspension.
Feedback Policy
Zipidee promotes a feedback system that allows customers to honestly and openly comment on goods purchased. Zipidee does not review or edit comments as a matter of policy. Zipidee reserves the exclusive right to remove any comments that violate our terms and conditions agreement, including overt profanity, and racist, sexist, abusive, or overly offensive remarks. Questions regarding this policy should be sent to feedback@zipidee.com
Promotional Policy
Zipidee may offer, from time to time, digital goods free of charge through promotional activities in order to stimulate sales via coupons, hyperlinks and other means to current and prospective customers, content providers, business partners and others, as well as through marketing promotions and advertising campaigns. Promotional programs are developed to increase revenue on behalf of all sellers. Seller shall not be entitled to any royalties or other payment for such free offerings.
Current Fee Policy
Listing Fees: Each digital good uploaded for sale in our marketplace will be subject to an initial listing fee of $1.00 per item. Listing fees for all products uploaded will be waived for a limited time. Zipidee retains the right to charge a recurring listing fee in the future for all digital goods made available in the marketplace.
Feature Fees: Sellers may choose to pay for additional features, including DRM protection, promotional tools, “in-network” advertising, additional category listing, and top listing on search results. Fees will vary for each feature and will be waived for a limited time. Zipidee retains the right to charge feature fees for all digital goods sold in the marketplace.
Membership Fees: Zipidee may make certain bundled service packages including listing fees and other feature fees available through various membership offerings. Zipidee reserves the right to charge a minimum annual membership fee.
Processing Fees: Processing fees include credit card or PayPal transaction fees plus Zipidee’s transaction fee of 20%. These fees are deducted from your set price. Exact fees assessed against your sales may vary depending on the type of payment (PayPal or Credit Card) a buyer uses. Fees are assessed as follows:
- Payments made using PayPal incur a 2.9% + $0.30 fee for charges over $12.00 and 5.0% + $0.05 for charges under $12.00.
-
- Payments made using Credit Cards (non PayPal) incur a 2.9% + $0.22 fee.
Listing fees are a per digi-good fee. To date, during our introductory launch period, we have not charged listing fees. We will be implementing listing fees in the future.
Affiliate Programs: Zipidee utilizes certain Affiliate Programs including programs which may be conducted through web sites or other customer acquisition channels owned or operated by Sellers or other third parties. Affiliate programs may enable sales directly through the Zipidee platform, through any widget powered by the Zipidee platform or other methods utilizing the Zipidee platform. If a Seller’s digital good is sold as a result of a transaction covered by an Affiliate Program Zipidee may deduct any affiliate compensation from the 80 percent (after processing fees) payable to the Seller. For example, if an affiliate is to receive 15 percent of the sales price than the Seller compensation would be equal to the 80 percent (after processing fees) less 15 percent of the sales price. Zipidee will provide reporting to Seller to track its Affiliate sales.
Third-Party Distributor Programs: Sellers may choose to opt in to Zipidee’s Third-Party Distributor Programs with third parties which do not use Zipidee’s platform to distribute their digital goods. All revenues generated from the sale of Partner’s digital goods through Third-Party Distributors will be shared with Seller on a 50/50 basis (50% to Seller). A Seller’s revenue share amount will be calculated based on reporting provided by the third-party distributor and may include revenues from actual sales, subscription revenues or other sales models. Allocations of revenue required for sales models where revenues are not specifically attributable to individual sales may include calculated allocations based on unit sales, sales value or other method reported by third party distributor. Zipidee will provide reporting to Seller to track its third-party Distributor sales.
Other: Zipidee reserves the right to withhold seller payments on transactions that are in dispute or reversed for technical or other reasons.
